SLIDE Ski and Snowboard wax is specifically designed to provide excellent glide performance along with long-lasting protection of the ski/snowboard base.
Designed by a chemist in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada, Slide Ski and Snowboard wax has been used by skiers and snowboarders in Canada, United States, Australia, Europe and other key ski areas in the world since the early 1960's. Our wax is designed to work with the temperature of the snow, not the air temperature. All of our waxes can also be blended to meet the ever changing conditions of the ski slopes.
Each 200 gram bar will provide approximately 12-15 applications depending on amount of wax applied to the surface and area of surface.
SLIDE GOLD our most popular selling wax. This hot wax will perform in most conditions and will provide exceptional results. The GOLD wax can be blended with some of the lower temperature waxes to enhance performance.
SLIDE GREEN is for Fresh Powder and below -8 degrees Celsius (17 degrees Fahrenheit). If you are a serious skier and want to hit the slopes on those days you know the lifts are not going to be busy - this is your wax. Try blending this wax with GOLD if you are after the "wind chill" sensation.
SLIDE BLUE is for Aged Snow and between 0 degrees and -8 degrees Celsius (32 to 17 degrees Fahrenheit). Apply this wax to your base when you plan to ski on those runs that are popular and have not seen much snow lately.
SLIDE RED is Spring Wax. Above 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) in wet, heavy snow. This wax is perfect for end of season skiing and snowboarding. This product is excellent for repelling water to provide the performance you are looking for in wet spring snow.
